Getting Out And Help Our Community Once Again

Today we’ve been out and about helping those who are homeless or rough sleeping around the town to help keep warm and dry during this constantly changing weather. Those who rely on us have been happy to see us again too.

All of our volunteers and helpers have all commented today, saying how great It’s been to be back out and helping as many people as we can today.

What Did We Do Today?

Today we managed to help the following number of people:

  • 43 people attend our hot meal service with sandwich and drink handout’s for later.
  • 14 for new cloths, sleeping bags, toiletries and other associated items.
  • 2 people received dog food, dog toys and blankets for their dogs.
  • 6 for our naloxone training and handout scheme.

We’ve been giving out hot food, warm and dry clothing, sleeping bags, toiletries, dog food and toys, new warm sleeping bags and training/giving out as many emergency naloxone kits as we can.

Our Naloxone (Narcan) Program

That’s 6 more people who may save the lives of themselves or those they’re around who may overdose on heroin or other opioids!

This Is Why We Still Need Your Ongoing Support

We want to thank all of our volunteers, helpers and organisations who have facilitated us to help the amount of people we were able to reach today, and we want to ensure that we are able to get back out and do it again shortly. This is why we need your help by either donating money or items to our cause. You can find out all you need to know and more here.

Thank you in advance. No matter how much or little you can donate, or what you’re able to donate to us, 100% of it will all be going to good use helping our homeless and rough sleeping community who are afflicted by drug and alcohol addiction.
